Grateful for the Fourth week of Advent: Love

Three gifts frosted:

  • 20 pans of cinnamon rolls and icing prepped and delivered in 48 hours
  • treats for the family
  • time for making holly berry branches “frosted” with snowDSCN6350

Three gifts miraculous:

  •  God’s provision in time of need
  • amazing family
  • no one getting sick before Christmas!

Three gifts manger-small:

  • Advent book my children still love to read, 13 years and counting
  • Jesse Tree ornaments made with love
  • little Mary, full of Grace, making her way round our Advent wreath

Three gifts angelic song:

  • 76 people gathered, children, adults, married, single, parents, grandparents to carol the neighborhood around our church
  • stopping by favorite houses to sing for neighbors who wait every December for the kids to come sing
  • stopping by a new house to sing and finding an old friend

3 gifts lit:

  • Advent candles bending and drippy from use night after night
  • favorite candle lit early morningDSCN6431
  • early morning moon lighting the sky

Three gifts one side of the family:

  • small children in bathrobes with scripts, sharing the old, old story
  • excitement for each other’s joy
  • unexpected dinner with far-off cousins

Three gifts other side of the family:

  • cousins bumping down the stairs
  • new beginnings
  • laughing with the family in The Family Game
