No words

What have I to say, on this day, when the sun darkened and the earth trembled and the veil torn in two? What words to describe the scene that won’t seem trite or slick or pompous? There are no words, today of all days, when we are all rendered silent at the foot of the cross as the work of salvation was accomplished, not by our deeds, or floundering attempts to please Him, but by the One who said, “It is finished.” And it is.
