First hike of the season

Well, after more snow than we’re used to here in Nashville, then a bunch of rain, this is our first hike of the year. We were supposed to go Friday, but the forecast was rain all day. So, we rearranged our schedule, hiked in Warner Parks and played in the creek. Don’t tell my grandmother–my kids in shorts in a creek before the end of April is a set up for pneumonia in her book:) We had a great time, got wet, drew tree roots, and wouldn’t you know, they changed the forecast? No rain until Friday night instead.

Doodlebug and I always bring up the rear of the hike.

I can’t wait until it’s warm enough for us to go out! How I love it!
