Here are a few of the websites and blogs I use for preschool ideas. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
My Montessori Journey has wonderful ideas from a Christian mom teaching in a one room Montessori preschool. She loves to go thrift store shopping, so many of her ideas are easily replicated.
Montessori for Everyone has some free downloads that can be used; both preschool and elementary aged children are found on this site.
Montessori Materials has some free downloads as well. They are scattered throughout the site.
Deep Space Sparkle has art activities based on children’s picture books. Scroll down to the bottom and they’re on the right. There are lesson plans for art for all elementary school here.
Preschoolers and Peace has interesting ideas–the author has eight kids who either have been or soon will be preschoolers, so she has years of practical experience!
Discovery tables have worked well for me in the past. I need to get mine out again this fall. Of course if you don’t have a sand table, you could uses one of those underbed plastic boxes with a tight fitting lid. This list will keep preschoolers busy for weeks!
I hope you enjoy these sites as much as I do. Their ideas are so good you may never come back to my blog! If you have a favorite blog or website about preschoolers, won’t you share it with us? Link it in the comments so we can all benefit!
